original post-fire chicago c. 1870's original and largely intact freestanding interior commercial building staircase straight rail section likely fabricated by the palmer, fuller & co., chicago, il. the solid walnut wood railing was located on the top floor once containing physician offices when the building first opened. the complete section contains hexagonal-shaped spindles or "sticks" with original top rail containing a simple, yet elegant profile. the old green paint was likely added around 1911 when the building underwent several changes. priced for the complete section. multiple sections are available, along with additional spindles, newel posts and other staircase components. measures 50 x 4 x 38 inches.
