original vintage american industrial rectangular-shaped die cut steel "440-volt" single-sided warning or cautionary sign fabricated by the veribrite sign company, chicago, il. the flush mount sign contains a slightly worn black porcelain enameled finish with large white lettering. the sign was salvaged from old overhead railroad power line pole. measures 15 3/4 x 2 1/2 inches.
