Product Description

unique late 19th century american industrial factory machinist tool chest with raised panel top. the hand-forged wrought iron drop handles and keyhole escutcheon are original to the chest. the cabinet's interior features a compartmentalized "small parts" sliding tray with three large fixed position bays below. newer strap hinges were added, along with a spring-loaded door closer. the exterior and interior has been completely refinished. salvaged from the grand specialties co. factory in chicago. measures 40 x 20 x 23 1/2 inches.
