original and intact antique american four-legged fanciful red enameled wrought iron ice cream parlor or soda fountain stationary bar stool designed and fabricated by the chicago wire company, chicago, il. the chair is comprised largely of heavy gauge wrought iron. the twisted and hooped feet are structurally sound and stable. the seat inset is made of a varnished wood, surrounded by a reinforced pressed and folded steel rim. the stool measures 26 1/2 inches in height.
