very well-built late 19th or early 20th century antique american darkly varnished oak wood interior residential pier mirror or console designed and fabricated by chas. f. lorenzen & co., chicago, ills. the solid oak wood pier mirror retains the original bevel edge mirror with no breaks or cracks evident. remarkably, the original varnished finish is largely intact and mostly uniform. the opposed semicircular columns are secure and free from wear and tear. the console was salvaged from a chicago greystone residence undergoing demolition. 47 x 10 1/4 x 89 1/2"
