two matching original american depression era interior lobby doors purportedly from the chicago board of trade building constructed in 1930 with holabird and root as architects. the elegant sliding elevator doors are clad in a heavy gauge pressed brass metal with distinctive scenes of industry located at the top and bottom of each panel. the surrounding border consists of a repeating richly ornate floral motif. the panels have a nicely aged surface patina. the cast iron and steel track rollers are original and intact. possibly fabricated by the winslow brothers, chicago, il. priced for the pair. each door measures approximately 21 3/4 x 4 x 84 1/2 inches.
