original early 20th century antique american robust cast iron diminutive factory machine shop power hack saw machine bases designed and fabricated by the sterling diamond saw and stamping works, buffalo, ny. the two matching legs contain a brushed metal finish sealed with a clear coat lacquer. one leg contains a lightly incised brass plaque identifying the owners as n. ridlen & son. the machine was leased to ridlen and ridlen, inc. the two bases are free from cracks or breaks. great overall condition. priced for the pair. measures 17 x 5 1/2 x 24 inches.
