c. 1950's american industrial all-welded joint tubular steel factory machine shop stool fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. the stationary stool has been customized (likely by the machinist) through rearrangement of the supporting stretchers. the circular-shaped seat and adjustable backrest are original and intact. the old blue paint finish was lightly cleaned. the steel disc levelers are functional. salvaged from a west side chicago sheet steel fabrication factory. measures approximately 17 x 19 x 24 inches.
