original and intact antique american victorian era salvaged chicago solid quartered oak fireplace mantel likely executed by or for c.j.l. meyer & sons company, chicago, ills. the full mantel contains two sets of solid fluted columns with shelves and header. the original rectangular-shaped beveled edge mirror is intact and free from damage. the mantel is comprised of quartered oak wood with single coat of white paint. two identical mantels were salvaged from a chicago two-flat graystone undergoing demolition. priced individually.
