exceptional high victorian ornamental cast bronze interior u.s. treasury building emblematic doorknob and matching backplate designed and fabricated by the russell & erwin and/or metallic compression casting company. the doorknob features a cartouche with scales of justice and key. the backplate retains the original swinging keyhole cover. the antique american door hardware is comprised of cast bronze with nicely aged surface patna.
