group of late 19th century matching ornamental wrought brass "ceylon" pattern interior residential door hardware designed and fabricated by the p. & f. corbin co., new britain, ct. the lot includes matching doorknob, spindle and backplates. the wrought brass hardware has been lightly cleaned. salvaged from a chicago graystone two-flat residence. several sets available. hardware fittings were used on the paneled oak wood passage doors. priced for the lot. the doorknobs measure approximately 2 inches in diameter each. the backplates measure approximately 1 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches each.
