matching set of original and completely intact antique american victorian era ornamental cast iron interior residential passage door hinges designed and fabricated by the p. & f. corbin company, new britain, ct. the two oversized loose pine hinges have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the leaves are heavily ornamented with leafage, scrolls and geometric borders. the fanciful turned and tapered "steeple" type finials are original and intact. great working condition. the knuckles show very little wear. multiple sets of these hinges were salvaged from a chicago graystone residence constructed in the late 1880's. priced for the pair. 4 1/2 inches x 4 1/2 inches wide x 7 3/4 inches.
