hard to find and original mid-nineteenth century dark olive porter style glass bottle. the squat body and long straight neck are finished with an applied long tapered collar. the richly colored glass ranges from opaque black to olive green with some minor irridization. the bottler's name is embossed in slightly caseworn lettering around the shoulder. crudities are typical of its age and date of manufacture, including bubbles, whittling, and minor surface wear. bottle is intact and in good condition.
