original c. 1890's tall mug base hutchinson soda bottle manufactured for the "bristol mineral spring co." on the front body, inside a tombstone slug plate, embossed lettering reads "bristol mineral spring co. / trade mark /chicago" around an ornate monogrammed "jhw" logo. the tall slim body and high shoulders are finished with a squat neck and applied blob top. the lower body has a 10-paneled mug base. crudities are typical of its age and date of manufacture, including whittling, and some discoloration or interior stains from being dug. the bottle retains at least part of the original stopper.
