original and nicely designed ornamental cast iron stair baluster panel salvaged from an old northwest indiana foundry undergoing demolition. larges piles of "new old stock" ironwork dating back to the early 20th century was discovered hidden away in basement and outbuilding storage. truly a rare find. the large decorative panel contains a centrally located anthemion or palmette design motif, surrounded by scrolls, bellflowers and other neoclassical elements. measures 29 1/4 x 19 1/4 inches. two identical panels available, priced individually.
