matching set of original and intact early 20th century american vintage industrial heavy cast iron machine shop table or workbench bases fabricated by the frank danielson mfg. co., chicago, il. the solid iron bases were salvaged from a chicago-based factory that fabricated engines from 1915 to around 1930. the floor plates contain pre-drilled holes for anchoring into the floor. the bases have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. manufacturer markings, in the form of deeply embossed lettering, are found on each stretcher. measure 17 x 2 x 30 inches. priced for the pair.
