completely intact c. 1920's original leaded glass casement doors or windows salvaged from the chicago athletic association building annex (likely from the 1925 addition). each pine wood cabinet door with a dark red stained finish contains traditional diamond pattern leaded glass panes divided by an arched muntin. the nicely aged cast brass window or cabinet latch and catch are original and intact. the caming and glass is free from damage and/or repairs. priced for the combined set. the 20-story prairie style chicago athletic association annex (also known as the chicago athletic club addition or "madison building") was designed by the notable chicago-based architectural firm of schmidt, garden & martin. the madison street landmarked high-rise was added to the existing 11-story neo-venetian style chicago club association building constructed in 1893 by architect henry ives cobb. the towering "gardenesque" style red brick and ornamented limestone annex was completed in 1907, with an additional eight floors added in 1925. together the two buildings form an l-shape wrapping around willoughby tower. the annex contained the famous "cherry circle" bar room, lodging, the crystal room, offices and a presidential suite on the 18th floor. measures approximately 36 x 2 x 60 inches.
