original late 19th or early 20th century american industrial factory foreman's table or desk lamp likely fabricated by the dale electric co., new york city, ny. the "portable" lamp is comprised largely of tubular brass with weighted cast iron base and threaded end iron pipe. the original general electric company paddle switch socket with mica insulation remains in working condition. the green enameled parabolic reflector is comprised of steel with rolled rim. the adjustable lamp contains a double joint with friction dials containing knurled edges. period appropriate braided cloth cord and plug intact.
Measures: 24.5" high and the arm measures 13" long
