c. 1900's original and nicely aged antique american ornamental wrought brass metal interior chicago apartment building passage size doorknob designed and fabricated by the reading hardware co., reading, pa. single banded rim dome-shaped brass "mura" pattern doorknob features a centrally located rosette surrounded by floral motifs. several matching doorknobs and backplates were salvaged from the chicago apartment building prior to demolition. the unrestored hardware has not been cleaned. great condition with very little surface wear. measures approximately 2.5 inches in diameter
