original early 20th century salvaged neoclassical style ornamental cast bronze monogrammed hotel "unit lock set" with privacy latch

original american ornamental cast bronze monogrammed unit lock set salvaged from a hotel located in or around detroit, mi. the lock unit is positioned between the two flanking backplates. the letter "s" is found in the form of a ornamented medallion positioned at the top of each backplate. the doorknobs are largely unadorned, with a series of graduating circles or concentric rings surrounding the centrally located keyhole. original working key left intact. fabricated by the p. & f. corbin hardware co., new britian, ct. nicely aged surface patina. measures 11 x 4 1/2 x 7 inches. three matching sets available.
