all original and intact late 1930's antique american industrial stationary institutional desk manufactured by the do/more posture chair co. inc., elkhart, ind. the utilitarian desk unit is comprised of riveted joint pressed and folded steel with original black enameled finish. the adjustable seat and table are birch wood with intact varnished finish. the spacious seat is perforated (for ventilation purposes) in the shape of the letter "d" for do/more. very secure and sound. salvaged from a southern illinois correctional institution. seat width 15", seat height 17".
