single all original and intact 19th century ornamental wrought iron hinged exterior residential gate designed and fabricated by the f.p. smith wire & iron works foundry, chicago, ills. the american victorian gate remains in good shape, with riveted joint and hand bent scrolls. the pivoting latch/handle is original to the gate. great overall condition, considering age.
