highly ornate c. 1897-1905 all original and largely intact antique american copper-plated cast iron "anjou" pattern interior residential double pocket door hardware salvaged from a chicago residence demolished long ago. the complete set consists of four matching escutcheons with recessed "cup" handles. the two mortise locks are equipped with spring-loaded sliding handles used to pull the doors out of their pockets. the antique builders' hardware was designed and fabricated by the russell & erwin mfg. co., new britain, ct.
