well-maintained and nicely aged all original and intact late 19th century antique american salvaged chicago quartered oak wood fireplace mantel fabricated by the foster-munger company, chicago, ills. the fireplace mantel retains the original, mostly uniform finish. the half-mantel contains two solid slightly tapered oak wood fluted columns with elegant capitals with embossed rings. the mantel was salvaged from a chicago two-flat undergoing demolition. two nearly identical mantels available. very elegant and simple in design. 58x59" and firebox is 41x38"
