oversized multi-part white glazed terra cotta lawndale theater lower lobby level wall-mount drinking fountain salvaged from the basement before it flooded shortly after it was shuttered. since demolished, the theater was salvaged by urban remains in 2007. the west side chicago movie palace was completed in 1927 with r. levine and company, architects. the spanish baroque style theater contain several metal, terra cotta, and plaster stylistic features, including a centrally located art glass window above the entrance. the large fountain was painted long ago, but the original glazed finish remains in great overall condition. the arched section features a detailed satyr above a shell. 29w 46h 26d
