c. 1890's original entrance size ornamental cast bronze dome-shaped antique american victorian era doorknob designed and fabricated by the p. & f. corbin co., new britain, ct. the "venice" pattern doorknob features a slightly raised unusual strap or banding pattern, accentuated with buttons or round pellets. the outer edge of the knob contains a beaded border. nicely aged surface patina. diameter 2-1/4".
