american depression era vintage industrial flush mount solid cast bronze metal "600 volts" cautionary or danger plaque removed from a railroad locomotive. the exact sign fabricator is not known, although it may have been made for the general electric company. the nicely aged sign plaque with deeply embossed lettering was likely mounted on a train engine generator access panel or possibly on an electric motor that drive the axle wheels. contains four large screw holes for mounting purposes. measures 8 1/2 x 5 inches.
