c. 1940's american vintage industrial medium-sized "porcelain-silveray" pressed heavy gauge steel exterior sign letter possibly salvaged from an old sinclair filling station. the brightly colored cherry red porcelain enameled building facade letter sign was likely fabricated by the federal electric company, chicago, il. the deeply embossed and beveled edge single letter remains in great overall condition, considering age. the single-sided exterior letter mounts flush against the wall. measures 15 x 12 1/2 inches.
