original c. 1920's american vintage medical stationary hospital operating room instrument and/or supply cabinet. fabricated around 1925 by the frank s. betz co., chicago, il. the freestanding cabinet is comprised of reinforced folded and pressed "furniture" sheet steel with brushed metal finish. configured with two swing-out cabinet doors with original knob pulls and barrel lock. the cabinet interior retains the original plate glass shelves against the original white enameled finish. the flanking sidelights are a nice and desirable feature. the lower half contains three pull-out drawers and hinged cabinet doors with original knob pulls and barrel locks. the blunted angled steel legs (four total) are structurally sound and secure. remarkable cabinet with endless functionality and display potential. measures 36 x 15 x 64 inches.
