large lot of all original and intact antique late 19th or early 20th century green glass and mostly unembossed wine and olive oil bottles dug from various chicago area privy pits. spectrum of colors range from light olive to dark forest green. the lot includes pontiled bottles with deeply rounded push-ups and a mamelon. most exhibit the typical slender body tapering into a long neck and applied finish, with variations in shape. crudities are typical of age and date of manufacture. discoloration or irridization are typical of having been dug. priced for the lot.
