set of virtually identical late 19th or early 20th century antique american industrial ornamental cast iron swivel stands supported by three-legged weighted cast iron bases. the exact fabricator is not known. the diminutive tabletop or bench stands have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the unusual seven-sided frame contained slots to guide the bent cast iron brace that moves up and down by rotating the spoked wheel. priced for the pair. One item measures 14.5"h x 6.5"w.
