Product Description

original and largely intact antique american early 20th century wall-mount nickel-plated "needle" type bent tubular brass shower fixture possibly fabricated by crane or standard. the polished nickel-plated tubing retains the original sliding brackets for use to mount against surrounding lavatory walls. the offset mixer with cross-arm faucet handles and "self-cleaning" shower head are original and in good condition. needle shower configurations varied considerably - designed for use in both commercial and residential settings. the assembly pictured was salvaged from a chicago mansion built around the turn of the century. this shower fixture did not require or come with a porcelain drain basin. the nickel-plated finish is in great condition, considering age. similar configurations are shown in several period plumbing catalogs. Item measures 71 1/4"h x 29 1/4"w x 33 3/4"d.
