very impressive american art deco interior residential combination candelabra fish bowl stand designed and fabricated by the booth company, chicago, il. the stand is comprised entirely of cast iron with a uniform exterior brushed metal finish. the pierced metal flared round base features richly ornate foliage and scrollwork. the supporting stand features three identical mythical aquatic creatures consisting of a human upper body form connected to a fish-like torso and tail accentuated with fish scales and pointed trident. the glass fishbowl sits snug within the uppermost base or ring that contains three distinct flanges used to support electrified candles. the freestanding fishbowl stand is free from breaks, missing sections, etc. hard to find and highly desirable, despite the missing bowl. measures 13 x 31 inches.
