exceptional all original antique american optometrist easel back desk advertising sign designed and manufactured by the art glass novelty co., dundee, mi. the flashy oversized placard or plaque is comprised of thick plate glass with a unique scalloped edge border. the backside contains a dazzling reflective foil layer combined with a black reverse-painted finish. the original tin metal sleeve holds the glass plaque tightly in place. the trade sign retains the original adjustable or pivoting easel back, in the form of bent steel rods. optional clips are affixed to the top of the frame for hanging purposes. measures 14 1/2 x 5 inches.
