all original late 1940's vintage american industrial freestanding task lamp designed and fabricated by or for the art specialty co., chicago, il. the factory machine shop task lamp contains a telescoping extension housed within a stationary tubular metal pole that is tightly affixed to a weighted cast iron base. the industrial floor lamp features two points of adjustment. the deep bowl turned metal shade or reflector with rolled rim is original to the task lamp. original lamp cord and plug. excellent working condition. when fully extended, the lamp measures 65 1/2 inches in height. the brushed metal finish has been sealed with a clear coat finish. shade measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter. base is 12 inches in diameter. measures 23 1/2 wide x 60 1/4 inches high.
