early 20th century antique american industrial "super adjustable lamp" manufactured by the greist mfg. co., new haven, conn. the versatile clamp-on fixture was designed to mount on the edge of a workbench, table, wall, etc. the fixture retains the original domed-shaped clip on shade with simple tapped ball finial. the edison key or "paddle" socket is in great working condition. the industrial lamp has been rewired with period braided cloth cord with bakelite plug.
