well-built c. 1930's depression era antique american industrial factory machine shop table or workbech with the base possibly fabricated by the angled steel stool co., plainwell, mich. the completely refinished bare metal table contains allover riveted and welded joint angled steel legs and stretchers for added support and stability. the brushed metal finish has been sealed with a clear coat finish. the early top is comprised of a wood core wrapped in hammered galvanized steel. the tabletop has been brushed and sanded with a clear coat sealant added. the robust table was salvaged from a chicago factory that specialized in metal fabrication and stamping. measures 57 x 30 x 33 inches.
