repurposed antique american industrial cast iron swinging double-arm bracket with a newly added solid cherry wood diminutive compartment

completely refinished original antique american double-arm swinging cast iron bracket with a newly added custom-built solid cherry wood mitered joint storage compartment. the pivoting arm bracket has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the unornamented bracket retains the original curved backplate with two pre-drilled holes for mounting purposes. the diminutive cherry wood box is fastened tightly to the bracket's disc-shaped platform. the extendable bracket was likely fabricated to a medical or industrial furniture piece or machine. the exact fabricator is not known. compartment measures 7 x 7 inches, bracket extends to 19 inches
