heavy duty antique american industrial oversized cast iron pedestal base executed by the u.s. electrical tool company co., cincinnati, oh. the repurposed grinding machine base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the base retains the original bolted door with embossed lettering and stamped brass "department of defense" identification plaque. the early 20th century salvaged chicago machine shop base contains a newly a newly added solid oak wood slab, but can be switched out or removed altogether. 36"h and top is 30x30"
