antique american industrial diminutive early 20th century repurposed ceiling or wall light fixture with an original "wallace" yellow brass portable lamp containing a bracketed coil base. the single socket fixture was designed and fabricated by the waterbury-wallace company, new york city, ny. the fixture contains two extensions in the form of detachable bryant single and double socket adapters that either rotate or pivot. the use of two edison bare bulbs would complete the fixture. the clip-on shade was lost long ago. the nicely aged brass patina is mostly uniform throughout. the single wallace lamp joint allows the socket with extensions to pivot one or or the other. only one available in this configuration.
