unique vintage american industrial freestanding repurposed table or desk lamp featuring a c. 1920's laboratory retort stand fabricated by the fisher scientific co., pittsburgh, pa. the stand contains a black enameled three-legged tripod base with solid steel rod. the fully adjustable clamps support two matching perkins paddle switch sockets dating to the early 20th century. the carbon hairpin filament light bulbs are for display purposes only. the early electric sockets have been rewired with period appropriate braided cloth lamp cord. measures 20 inches tall.
