c. 1920's thoroughly cleaned and refinished antique american industrial factory "ohio" milling machine workshop base containing a newly added solid oak wood tabletop comprised of old railroad boxcar floor boards. the slightly offset and tapered pedestal base has been brushed and sanded down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the refinished oak wood tabletop is tightly affixed to the heavy duty cast iron base, designed and fabricated by the the oesterlein machine co., cincinnati, oh. the multi-purpose stand or table can be used in a variety of settings. base diameter measures 18 1/2 inches x 14 inches, stand height measures 31 1/2 inches, table top measures 16 3/4 inches x 28 3/4 inches.
