refinished early 20th century vintage american industrial folded and pressed heavy gauge steel strongbox. the exact fabricator is not known. mostly uniform brushed metal finish treated with a cleat coat lacquer. the rectangular-shaped, bulky steel chest contains a spacious interior compartment with no trays and or movable dividers. the strap hinges, hasps and oversized drop handles are intact. features all-riveted joint construction for added strength and durability. measures 29 x 13 1/2 x 12 inches.
