group of four matching vintage industrial american world war ii era army portable field folding chairs fabricated by or for the united states department of defense. the chairs or stools were originally apart of the "tray set type 3" medical cabinet or chest. the fold-out table was lost long ago. the x-shaped frames are comprised of heavy gauge pressed and folded steel with original olive green enameled finish. the stitched canvas seats remain in excellent condition. priced for the set.
