original late 19th, possibly early 20th century american victorian era lavatory bathroom ceramic tile fabricated by the trent tile co., trenton, nj. the polychrome majolica glazed tile features a lightly embossed, centrally located nautical shell surrounded by ribbons and leafage. salvaged from a chicago graystone interior bathroom. limited quantity available. allover surface crazing evident. manufacturer markings lightly incised on the backside. brick and mortar carefully removed. measures 6 x 4 1/2.
