original c. 1900's ornamental cast iron wood display cabinet replacement leg salvaged from an old shoe factory showroom located on the far south side of chicago. the tapered and turned iron leg or support is accentuated with embossed acanthus leaves wrapped around each of the four corners. the leg was fabricated by the garden city plating & mfg. co., chicago, il. partially intact copper-plated finish. great overall condition, considering age. measures 3 x 3 x 6 inches.
