c. 1940's vintage american industrial single-sided pressed and folded heavy gauge steel "hopper" box fabricated by the stackbin corp., pawtucket, ri. the stackable storage bin was designed and patented in 1930 by thomas shaw of woonsocket, rhode island. the riveted joint steel "small parts" angled front container has been brushed and sanded down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures 9 x 18 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches.
