one of several matching all original c. 1940's versatile vintage american industrial freestanding heavy gauge steel storage cabinet or table/desk base containing four matching pull-out drawers. the reinforced stationary multipurpose factory machine shop cabinet was designed and manufactured by lyon metal products inc. aurora, il. each drawer contains a deeply recessed handle, along with unique streamlined style embossed horizontal lines. the cabinet was salvaged long ago from the excalibur tool & die factory, chicago, il. the brushed and sanded metal finish was each and every viewable side of the cabinet. the bare metal has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the cabinet measures 16 inches x 21 1/2 inches x 34 inches.
