lot of three matching original american vintage industrial heavy duty adjustable height cast iron pedestal bases, salvaged from a chicago machine tool factory. the solid steel extension rods or posts contain detachable u-shaped rollers likely used in conjunction with lathes found throughout the factory. the heavy cast iron pedestal bases contain four pre-drilled holes for anchoring into the floor. the bases have been thoroughly refinished and treated with a clear coat lacquer. possibly fabricated by medart. the bases measure 14 inches in diameter. overall height (based only from the image above) is 40 inches. makes for ideal furniture bases, nightstands, pub tables, etc. priced for the lot of three.
