group of three matching c. 1920's american antique stamped or pressed steel interior residential passage door backplates possibly fabricated by national or lockwood. the unusually designed doorknob backplates contain protruding steel collars or thimbles, single skeleton keyhole and four screw holes for mounting flush against the door. the brushed metal finish has been treated with a cleat coat lacquer. measure 8 x 2 1/2 inches. priced for the lot of three.
